Tell us a little bit about you, inside and outside of work?<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I’m an IT Sourcer and I love recruiting; it\u2019s a good opportunity to communicate with different people and be useful for companies and candidates. I love my mission, it\u2019s what makes me happy and I learn new things every day.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In my spare time, I love to walk, explore new cities and spend time with my sister – she\u2019s my best friend. I love Italy (especially the language!) and my dream is to visit the UK!<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you get into the recruitment industry?<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I had good communication skills in previous jobs and an individual approach to every person. I think emotional intelligence and sales experience are must-haves, so all these skills enabled and encouraged me to get into the recruitment industry.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What is an IT Sourcer? What will you be doing in your new role?<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

An IT Sourcer is a link between candidates and recruiters. They can help to find the right candidate with less effort, but good communication within the team is the key to success. My new role is to source and pre-screen relevant candidates and analyse the professional market.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you come to be an IT Sourcer at YourCode? What has been your career journey so far?<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I came to be an IT Sourcer at YourCode thanks to Josh Dixon reaching out to me on Linkedin!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My career journey has been difficult though, but interesting! I\u2019ve been working in the IT sector since 2018. I\u2019ve worked half of my career as a recruiter and half as a sales manager.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What advice would you give someone interested in a career in recruitment?<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Be ready to interact with different people! That\u2019s why so-called \u201csoft skills\u201d like communication are very important.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019d also say, never give up in difficult situations. Stay positive!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What advice would you give someone interested in a career in technology and IT?<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If learning something new is your motto then a career in IT is for you! The IT world is complicated and interesting so you have to be a curious person.<\/span><\/p>\n

What key skills are essential in your position?<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Both hard skills and soft skills are essential. You need sector-specific knowledge but also emotional intelligence, a high-stress tolerance, goal orientation, and attention to detail.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What makes YourCode a great place to work? Why is it different?<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

YourCode is a great company, with great results, a kind team and lots of values. I wanted to work both with the best professionals and also with a friendly team.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are you most looking forward to in your first few weeks at YourCode?<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I am looking forward to the challenges of my new experience in international recruitment. This is a new chapter in my life after a long time without work during the war in Ukraine. I\u2019m sure everything will be fine, because of the team\u2019s support.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
